Key Responsibilities
The Digital Coordinator is responsible for advancing the public image, brand, and growth of the organization through visual content and strategy for the organization’s online communications. This person will be responsible for designing and managing our website, CEH.org, and keeping the information on the site current. Together with the communications teams, the Digital Coordinator helps to develop, implement, and evaluate long-and short-term goals and strategies for digital marketing and communications that advance the mission of the organization.
- Manage our website, CEH.org, and keep the information on the site current.
- Strategize on creation and dissemination of communications collateral
- Manage, produce, and track online communications, including email blasts and advocacy communications issued to the organization’s email supporters.
- Assist in managing the organization’s social media by creating graphics and short videos
- Implement online branding strategies.
- Conceptualize, create, and produce graphics and visual content for social media, website, email blasts/action alerts, webinars, invitations, promotional and event materials, print and digital collateral, blog posts, etc.
- Track and report data that clarifies the effectiveness of online campaigns/actions and social media.
- Troubleshoot basic HTML/CSS issues in website and email templates.
- Manage, maintain, segment, and track email supporter database.
- Assist in writing drafts of email communications to members, webpages, press releases, blog articles, and social media, and work with staff and allies to select topics, targets, actions, and all essential details as necessary.
- Collaborate with the Strategic Communications team on the Editorial Calendar, including schedule of email alerts, blog posts, online collateral such as fact sheets and reports, etc.
- Collaborate with the Philanthropic Partnerships team on online CEH publications and print collateral.
- Other duties as assigned.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Two years communications and online media management experience
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and expert time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet multiple deadlines concurrently
- Ability to communicate productively and effectively
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated successful track record as both a proactive self-starter and a flexible team-player that adapts well to change
- Ability to work independently and as part of a successful team
- Proficiency with Microsoft suite of products, Google, WordPress, Canva, HTML/CSS
- Ability to excel in and contribute to a collegial and friendly working environment.

Salary
CEH offers competitive salaries, excellent benefits, and a supportive working environment. The salary for this position is $60,000 based on a nonprofit scale and commensurate with skills and experience. Our office is open, and we are operating in a hybrid model.
