You’re invited to a free webinar about sustainability certifications and standards in the furniture industry. This webinar will offer continuing education units (CEUs) through the Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturer’s Association (BIFMA).

In this webinar, presenter Jennifer Wammack will compare and explain how various sustainability rating tools are used in built environments. She will place special emphasis on sustainability certifications used for materials and products in furniture, while also expanding on building rating systems and programs that provide information transparency. 

LEVEL® by BIFMA’s furniture certification program is overlayed throughout the webinar so attendees will understand the contribution of sustainable furniture in creating spaces with a comprehensive vision for environmental sustainability, human health, and wellness.

Presenter Bio

Jennifer Wammack is the Director of Outreach and Learning for BIFMA  where she enhances engagement with influencers in the commercial built environment space. Jennifer communicates BIFMA’s message as the industry leader in developing furniture safety, durability, and sustainability standards that ensure product performance and inspire confidence wherever people work, learn, heal, and play. Jennifer holds a BFA in Textile Design from the Rhode Island School of Design and a Masters of Management in Sustainable Business from Aquinas College.
