Center for Environmental Health Announces Integration with Because Health
OAKLAND, CA – Today the Center for Environmental Health (CEH) announced it will bring environmental health educational campaign Because Health (BH) into CEH’s communications. Launched in 2018, Because Health is an environmental health educational campaign for the general public. With a thriving and engaged community, BH has successfully brought younger voices into the environmental health conversation and plays a crucial role in educating mainstream audiences about environmental health issues.
“We are thrilled to be integrating Because Health, created by Karen Wang, Phd, MSc, into our work at CEH,” said Michael Green, CEO of CEH. “The strong content, voice, and audience of Because Health is a perfect fit to merge with CEH and become branded as CEH, as we become a more nationally recognized thought leader on environmental health.”
“I have long admired CEH’s work and am enthusiastic about unifying the existing CEH & Because Health communities,” said Karen Wang, Director of Because Health. “I am excited to empower our BH audience to advocate for environmental health and justice, connecting individual action to collective impact. Together we will build on BH’s legacy of distilling complex environmental health concepts into concrete, positive actions people can take to build healthier lives, and a healthier future for all.”
