In this webinar, co-hosted by the Center for Environmental Health and The Center for Green Schools, representatives discuss food service items and the transition from disposables to reusables. Sue Chiang will begin by sharing CEH’s research on single use foodware which illuminates some of the problematic chemicals, particularly PFAS, used in compostable products along with other materials. Following this, you will hear from two representatives from Ichabod Crane Central and Palo Alto School Districts as they talk about their district’s respective journeys toward reusable food service ware.
