But the next time the pool is calling your name, consider sticking to an outdoor pool. Chlorine is added to swimming pools to disinfect the water. If an indoor pool isn’t ventilated well the chlorine can linger in the air, and too much chlorine can irritate lungs. An outdoor pool is also a great way to soak up some vitamin D ☀️! Just don’t forget your mineral sunscreen! ⠀
