What does Detox the Box mean?
It means there are organizations working to get toxic chemicals out of feminine hygiene products. Our friends at @womensvoices are making great strides on this front – like @proctergamble and Kimberly Clark (who make @ubykotex) starting to disclose ingredients in pads and tampons. But the end goal would be full disclosure of all ingredients and no toxic ingredients ever, which can lead to cancer, reproductive problems, asthma, and allergic reaction.
